NFTC 2022

Final Round

Kohei Tanabe was the most exciting young prospect in professional baseball—until he took a tumble over a bullpen mound at the Eureka Eagles’ Memorial Park Stadium and suffered a serious injury.

With Kohei’s career in tatters, Drexel Law (Beatrice Schaffer and Niayla Murray) took up his cause in a lawsuit against the Eureka Eagles.  UCLA Law (Sarah Stebbins and Eduoard Goguillon) ably defended the stadium, responding that Tanabe’s career was on the decline before his injury.

After a close-fought round judged by some of San Francisco’s top trial lawyers, UCLA Law emerged victorious.
